Sixteen years ago, a group of friends from Enschede had a dream: to put Twente on the map with a festival. Not just regionally, but nationally—maybe even internationally. And they succeeded. Fifteen editions, sold-out weekends, top artists, massive shows, and moments that have become part of our history. Pinksteren? That’s when we peak. A tradition for thousands. And we’re proud of that. 🙏
But the more we grew, the clearer one thing became: what truly makes Freshtival special isn’t bigger, louder, or farther away. It’s right here. In Twente. In friendship. In coming together. In that feeling of sharing a full weekend with your whole group—something that’s truly yours. 💜
So we’re choosing again. Choosing that feeling. And choosing the region where it all began. We’re building Freshtival for groups of friends. Go hard on Friday, peak on Saturday, and take it one step further on Sunday. And we want to keep it fun and affordable for everyone. Freshtival will be more intimate and almost €20 cheaper, yet still features 8 stages, a campsite right on the water, even more experiences, and of course the top artists you want to see.
This is us. The place where your friend group becomes legendary.
