Car

Parking is available close by once again

Planning to travel by car? If you’re using a GPS system, use Haaksbergerstraat 1010, 7548 PC in Enschede as your destination address.

Make sure to switch off your GPS system as soon as you start seeing the yellow signs with Freshtival. Many roads will be closed due to the festival, so use these yellow signs to find the quickest route to the festival terrain. Parking tickets are available in our ticket shop.

  • Festival: it is about 20 min walk to the festival entrance.
  • Camping: it is about 10 min walk to the campsite entrance.

The police will act firmly against parking infringement. Prevent getting a parking fine by following our team’s instructions.

Stay over at a stone’s throw away

What’s better than to stay over with your friends at a stone’s throw away from the festival site? No dealing with public transport or arguments about who will be the designated driver this year. Just relax and chill on the one and only Freshtival camping: Fresh Village, right next to the festival. Convinced? Get your camping tickets via our ticket shop!

For those who like it fancy

Camping is not your thing? Looking for some more luxury? Still want to stay close to the festival? Turn your Freshtival experience into an amazing weekend (or night) in one of the hotels nearby. However, you will have to make your own hotel arrangements.

Kiss & Ride

Is someone dropping you off and/or fetching you?

Is someone dropping you off and/or fetching you?

– Passenger cars + small taxi vans (max 9 pers.):
Please use the ‘Kiss & Ride’ location. This is clearly marked with yellow signs (BRENGEN/HALEN) and is easily accessible for both festival-goers and drivers. Walking time to the entrance: approximately 15 min.

– Large taxis (larger than 9 people) + Touring cars:
Please use the ‘Touring Cars’ location. This is easily accessible for both festival-goers and drivers. Walking time to the entrance: approximately 25 min.

Attention touring Cars: There is a new access route. Drivers are requested to follow the Haaksbergerstraat/Usselerveenweg intersection. From there, follow the yellow signs marked ‘Touringcars’. Click here for the route in Google Maps.

Touring cars that temporarily leave the site must return no later than 22:30. After this time, access to the current parking area is no longer permitted due to visitor flow and to prevent crossing traffic.

Beware for the return journey: as there are often only a limited number of taxis, it can be difficult to get one!

The police will act firmly against parking infringement.

Your own touringcar

Organizing your own bus trip?

Make sure you sign up via our contact form. Mention the following info: your bus company, amount of passengers, amount of busses, the day (Saturday or Sunday), expected arrival time and whether the bus will stay during the event.

– Large buses (larger than 9 pers) + Touring Cars:
Both the buses that stay, and those that don’t stay…

Attention touring Cars: There is a new access route. Drivers are requested to follow the Haaksbergerstraat/Usselerveenweg intersection. From there, follow the yellow signs marked ‘Touringcars’. Click here for the route in Google Maps.

Touring cars that temporarily leave the site must return no later than 22:30. After this time, access to the current parking area is no longer permitted due to visitor flow and to prevent crossing traffic.

Walking time to the entrance: approximately 25 min.

On location, follow further instructions from the traffic staff.

Taxi

Because nobody wants to be the designated driver

No energy for that ‘who’s going to be the designated driver’ discussion? Order a cab! Make sure the taxi driver follows the signs with ‘BRENGEN / HALEN’ until the taxi pickup location, located at walking distance from the terrain. When leaving the festival site, taxi’s will be ready at the designated taxi location. Beware for the return journey: as there are often only a limited number of taxis, it can be difficult to get one!

Train

The big yellow caterpillar

The train is an excellent choice for getting to Freshtival! Shuttle busses will depart to and from the NS-station Enschede. Signs at the station will direct you to the departure location.

Do make sure you are aware of train times, and the last train departure time in particular.

The shuttle buses run back and forth. There are no fixed arrival or departure times. Shuttle bus tickets are return tickets.

Bike

We are in The Netherlands, after all…

Nothing is more Dutch than making your way to Freshtival by bike. Bicycle storage is free and available near the entrance, clearly indicated by the signs. Wrongly parked bicycles will be removed.

Please note: the bicycle storage is not guarded! Bicycles or scooters blocking any form of access paths will be removed.

Shuttle bus

Saturday and Sunday

On Saturday and Sunday, shuttle busses will drive between the NS-station Enschede and Freshtival. Signs at the station will direct you to the departure location. The shuttle busses will be continuously available during the entire event.

Return journey
Please take into account that there might be extra waiting time at the boarding location for the shuttle busses. Also make sure you take extra waiting time into account for picking up your belongings from the lockers and making your way to the boarding location. Shuttle bus tickets are available both in our ticket shop as well as on site.
