Your access to Freshtival

How can I check my ticket(s)?

You can always view your order(s) by logging into your Absolutely Fresh account via this page. While ordering, you have also done this; it goes in the same way.
You will now get to the page with your order(s). By clicking on the order, you can view your ticket(s).

From this page you can manage your ticket(s).

Do I have to personalise tickets?

Every visitor to Freshtival must personalise their entry tickets to gain access to the festival and/or campsite.

Start date personalization: May 1, 2024.

All additional tickets need not be personalised. Examples:

  • Upgrade DeLuxe
  • Parking
  • Shuttlebus
  • Ready-made tents
  • Tokens

Note: you don’t have to personalise right away. This can also be done just before the event. If you want to change the name on a ticket later, you can, but Paylogic charges a small fee for this.

How do I personalise my ticket?

Start date personalization: May 1, 2024.

You are able to download your tickets, but only if they are personalised. Here’s how to do it:

  • Log in with your Absolutely Fresh account via this page.
  • On your order page, you can select a ticket and choose ‘Assign Tickets’.
  • Now you have two options:
    • ‘Claim ticket for myself’ to personalise a ticket on your own name.
    • ‘Send to friend’ if you want to personalise a ticket to someone else’s name.

Personalizing tickets or changing the name on a ticket is possible until during the event.

Can I sell my (personalized) ticket?

Yes you can, through our Resale Platform! The main ticket buyer can do this.

How does it work?

  • Log in to your Absolutely Fresh account. You have done this also while ordering; it works in the same way.
  • Go to your order and then click on More actions in the menu and then on Resale.
  • Select the ticket you want to resell and enter an amount.
    • NOTE: For example, if you want to set €xx,50 as the price, use a dot instead of a comma!
  • You can resell your ticket(s) for up to 100% of the face value (excluding service fees).
  • An 8% transaction fee will be charged to the person buying the ticket. Service fees originally paid are not refundable once you resell your ticket.
  • A Resale account will automatically be created for you. You will receive confirmation of this by e-mail.
  • You will receive confirmation as soon as your ticket has been resold. You can withdraw your ticket at any time as long as it has not been resold or added to someone’s shopping basket.

A few weeks before the event the Resale Platform will be online.

Someone else is coming along. How do I change the name on the ticket?

Want to suddenly bring someone else along? No problem!

  • Log in with your Absolutely Fresh account.
  • On your order page, choose More actions and Name change in the menu.
  • Select the right ticket (automatic if you only have one ticket).
  • Fill in the requested details and select the correct payment method.
  • Read the explanation at the bottom and tick to agree.
  • Complete the Name Change by paying.

Changing the name on a ticket is possible until during the event.

I lost my tickets. What now?

You can always view your order(s) by logging into your Absolutely Fresh account via this page. While ordering, you have also done this; it goes in the same way.
You will now get to the page with your order(s). By clicking on the order, you can view your ticket(s).

Are you stuck? No problem! Visit the Paylogic Customer Service Help Center.

I want to change the e-mail address associated with my order. What should I do?

Log into your Absolutely Fresh account via this page. While ordering, you have also done this; it goes in the same way.
Under Settings, you can change the e-mail address associated with your account. Any new orders will then be linked to the correct e-mail address.

Have you already placed an order and an incorrect e-mail address is linked to it? Unfortunately, we cannot change this for you, but Paylogic can. This page explains exactly which steps you need to take.

Can I convert my tickets?

You – as the main booker – can convert tickets from the order itself if, for example, you have chosen a wrong day (day change) or if you want to upgrade to tickets with camping. Read how it works via this link.

How does a Combi ticket work?

A Combi ticket cannot be split into a Saturday and Sunday ticket. This means that the person using the ticket on Saturday must be the same person using the ticket on Sunday. The ticket will be scanned on both days and is personalised.

How does a Group ticket work?

A group ticket is a normal entrance ticket. These can only be ordered per 5 which gives you a €3 discount per ticket.
You do not have to enter together as a group. Everyone gets their own entrance ticket.

Do you still sell tickets at the door?

No, there will be no door sale. Tickets are sold online only.

Do I have to print the ticket (s) in A4 format and in color?

No, that’s not mandatory. You can also have your ticket scanned from your phone. Please note that the internet connection is not always very stable. We therefore advise you to download your ticket onto your phone and make a screenshot before you go to Freshtival, so that you always have your digital ticket to hand. Make sure the brightness of your screen is set to maximum.

Do you print anyway? Then do this on A4 size, otherwise the barcode is too small to scan.

Can tickets also be scanned from a mobile phone?

Yes, it is possible to scan tickets from a mobile phone. Keep in mind that the internet connection is not always stable. We therefore advise you to download your ticket in advance on your phone and to make a screenshot so that you always have your digital ticket quickly at hand.

Also make sure that the brightness of your screen is at maximum.

How do I collect my pre-sale tokens?

After arrival you can collect your tokens at the pre-sale cash registers with your tokens ticket. The pre-sale cash registers are indicated on the floor plan.

Where can I buy a shuttle bus ticket?

You can order shuttle bus tickets (return) online, but these are also available locally (at Enschede Central).

Please note: there are no one-way tickets. When boarding after Freshtival, it is therefore not possible to purchase a shuttle bus ticket; you must already have the ticket.

Is Freshtival sold out?

As soon as Freshtival is sold out, we will report this to the news section on our website and our Facebook & Instagram.

What is Freshtival?

Dive into the magical world of Freshtival on 17, 18 & 19 May 2024. An extraordinary adventure, bigger than ever with 200+ artists, 13 stages and a fabulous campsite. Your escape for three days in a row. Say ‘yes’ to a thousand new emotions, flirty winks and musical wonders. Or as we say: “Escape the ordinary and dive into another world“.

How old do I have to be?

Freshtival is accessible from 18 years and older. Although we’d love to have each and every one of you, we can’t make any exceptions, not even if your birthday is the day after the festival. If in doubt, we will ask for a valid proof of identity.

If your 18th birthday happens to be on the day of the festival, you’re more than welcome to celebrate this special day with us.

What are the Freshtival opening times?
  • Friday, May 17 (only for camping visitors)
    – Camping Fresh Village: Friday 12:00 – Monday 12:00
    – Festival site: 17:00 – 04:00
  • Saturday 18 May
    14:00 – 00:00
  • Sunday 19 May
    14:00 – 00:00
Until what time can I still enter the festival site?

On both Saturday and Sunday it is still possible to enter the Freshtival site with a valid ticket until 10 p.m..

Can I leave the festival site in between?

If you have a camping wrist band, this is possible (via the camping entrance). If you do not have a camping wrist band, this is unfortunately not possible.

When will the timetable be announced?

The timetable will be announced about a week before Freshtival. Keep an eye on our Facebook or Instagram for the latest updates.

The floorplan will be announced about a week before Freshtival. Keep an eye on our Facebook or Instagram for the latest updates.

Are there lockers?

Of course! You can rent an E-locker at the entrance of Freshtival and at the campsite. These are lockers with a code. So keep your code safe and beware of people watching you. You can use the locker with that code throughout the day.

Size of a locker is: 30 cm wide, 40 cm deep and 24 cm high.

Order your E-locker online
Shuttle bus tickets are available when the public ticket sale starts.

Receive locker code
Have you ordered an E-locker online? You will receive your unique code at 8 a.m. on the day of your visit.

At the festival, you can get your locker via a QR code and an online payment. This does not apply to camping lockers; here you pay by card (PIN).

Help! My cellphone is empty ... What now?

No worries! We also thought of this. You can buy power banks at all merchandise stands, fresh points and at the campsite’s supermarket.

Is there running water?

There is no running water in the toilets, but there is disinfectant. The Fresh Village campground does have running water at the toilets.

My ID card has expired/been lost. What now?

You are required to be able to identify yourself. We randomly check for this at the entrance. Has your ID card been lost or expired? Then report it to your municipality for a Declaration of Loss. Together with a document proving it is you, you can then identify yourself.

Are cigarettes available?

Unfortunately, no cigarettes are available at the festival site. Smoking is also not allowed in any festival tent!

Are earplugs available?

Yes, these are available at the merchandise stand on the festival grounds.

Are you prepared for bad weather?

Freshtival has many tents, these offer you a dry place to stay at all times and here you have all the options to keep going! In addition, we have wooden floors at all areas so that you don’t have to walk in the mud. Of course we also have ponchos. So good weather or bad, it’s always Freshtival weather!

Do you work with a recycling system?

Yes, we do! Check out this image to see how it works.

I lost something!

We collect all found items during and after Freshtival. Everything that is not collected on the day itself is handed over to the municipality. All items will be placed on the ‘Lost or Found’ website approximately 2 business days after the event. You can also make a report there yourself if you have lost something: see their FAQ for more information.

Forgot something in your locker?
If you have left something in your locker, you can contact Eventsafe via this form. They collect all left items in the lockers.

Food & Drinks

Enjoy to the max

What can I eat and drink?

Naturally, much attention is paid to eating and drinking at Freshtival Weekend. Enormously diverse, colorful, worldly and of course delicious.

You are not allowed to bring your own food and/or drinks.

Allergy or intolerance

Every year, we try to present the widest (and tastiest) range of food possible. For each foodtruck, we will put the dishes together on a special page. If a dish is gluten-free, lactose-free, contains nuts or is vegetarian, it will be mentioned behind the dish. Bon appetit!

We understand that you don’t want to take any risk of cross-contamination or that the food line up might be too limited. You can bring your own gluten-free food in exceptional cases. Please note: bring only food for yourself. Indicate this during the visitation upon entry so that security is aware of this.

What are the house rules?

It is important to read the house rules before you enter the site, because only then you know exactly what you can expect from yourself and your festival visitors. You will find the house rules just before the entrance. Take a moment, we have kept it as short as possible.

What can I not bring to Freshtival?
  • Food & Beverages
    It is not possible to bring food and drinks on the festival grounds. There is plenty of opportunity to eat and drink at Freshtival. Delicious snacks from all corners of the globe, pizza points, fries, burgers: Freshtival really has it all! Please note that different rules apply when checking in at the campsite. You are allowed to bring food and drinks with you the first time.
  • Liquids
    For safety reasons it is also NOT allowed to bring liquids on the festival grounds (so no deodorant, deodorant rollers, hair spray etc.) On site there is ample opportunity to freshen up or to update your hair.
  • Drugs, weapons and other prohibited substances
    In short: everything that can hurt yourself or someone else or cause injury. At the entrance there is a complete list with everything that is forbidden. Freshtival has a zero tolerance policy on the presence, use of- and trafficking of drugs.
Can I take sunscreen?

Yes this is allowed, but only if it:

  • is spreadable (so no spray bottles);
  • is still in a new, unused package.
Are there dress codes?

In principle it cannot be crazy enough for us, the only thing we do not want is offensive, racist, condemning clothing / statements. It is also not allowed to come in clothing that makes you recognizable as a group. Freshtival is a low-threshold event where everyone must be able to feel at ease!

Can I bring professional photographic equipment?

It is not permitted to include (semi) professional photography and video equipment (with interchangeable lenses) on the festival grounds. Smartphones and small compact cameras with a built-in lens are allowed.

In addition, the Freshtival media team will be present throughout the weekend to record every corner of Freshtival. These images will be posted online after the event.

Can I bring a selfie stick or GoPro?

A selfie stick is allowed, just like a GoPro. Shoot a nice photo or make a cool video and don’t forget to send it to us (info@absolutelyfresh.nl). But make sure that you don’t bother other people.

Can I put up banners, flyers or banners on Freshtival?

Promotion is prohibited on and around the site of Freshtival. This will therefore be strictly monitored. Any fines and / or cleaning costs will be recovered from the relevant persons and / or organizations. So be warned!

All you need to know about paying at Freshtival

How can I pay at Freshtival?

At Freshtival you pay with tokens that you can use all weekend. You can purchase the tokens with your debit card / credit card (Mastercard / VISA / Maestro) or in cash.

How do I get tokens?

During Freshtival Weekend, you can buy tokens at the counters at the entrance, the counters scattered around the festival site and/or at the info desk (for camping visitors).

But you can also buy your tokens in advance online in our ticket shop.
After entering, you can collect these tokens at the pre-sale tills with your printed ticket or via the ticket on your mobile.
All (pre-sale) counters are indicated on the floor plan.

How do I get my pre sale tokens?

Can you also use Saturday's tokens for Sunday?

Yes, the tokens for Freshtival 2024 are valid for the entire weekend, both on the festival grounds and on the campsite.

Can the tokens from a previous edition still be used?

No, these are no longer valid.

Can I get remaining tokens refunded?

No, this is not possible. This is also indicated at the counters where you can buy your tokens.

Health & Safety

Know where to go

What if I use medication and / or have an allergy?

Medicines, food and liquids that are necessary due to allergies or illnesses may be taken in combination with a medicine passport. A medication passport is available from any pharmacy. Please allow for an application time of approximately 3 weeks.

Too late to apply? Bring something along that shows our security staff that you really need the medication, food or liquids.

Allergic to gluten?
On site we have gluten-free food available in small amounts. We understand that you don’t want to have any risk of cross-contamination or that the food line up might be too limited. You can then bring your own (i.e. for 1 person) gluten-free food by way of high exception.
Please note: Indicate this during the visitation upon entry so that security is aware of this.

I recently gave birth and am looking for some privacy during Freshtival!

Every year we look forward to the arrival of the young mothers who don’t want to miss Freshtival! Of course we have thought of these young mothers, because they sometimes need a moment to arrange some (important) things. This is of course possible with us in the first aid. You can just walk in here and you don’t have to report this in advance.

Do you experience health issues after our event?

We consider safety at our event very important. If you experience (serious) health complaints after our event, please share them with us at info@absolutelyfresh.nl.

The health complaints will be collected and if necessary, the type and number of health complaints will be shared with the Public Health Service for notification.

Will you sleep over?

Where is Fresh Village?

The campsite is close to the festival site at Recreatiepark Het Rutbeek. This way you will get from your tent to your favorite area in no time. Hopping there, and crawling back! The navigation address is Haaksbergerstraat 1010, 7548 PC Enschede. Turn off your navigation as soon as you see the yellow ‘Freshtival’ / ‘Camping’ signs.

When is the campsite open?

Fresh Village opens its magic doors on Friday May 17 and then closes (only) on Monday May 19.

Opening hours:

  • Campsite (Fresh Village): Friday 12:00 (noon) to Monday 12:00 (noon)
  • Festival grounds: 17:00 – 04:00 (for the party programme)

Disabled

What to expect...

What facilities are there for the disabled?
  • Wider entrance passage for wheelchairs.
  • Special toilets (you can go to a First Aid point for this).
  • There are several parts which are paved, but we have to make clear that some parts might be less accessible than others.
  • We use normal buses as shuttle buses, so please take this into account. You will not be able to ride along with a (large) electric wheelchair, for example.
  • Special shower & toilet on the campsite. (Send us a message in this case, since there is the Freshtival bridge)

We understand that you might need more for a comfy stay at Freshtival. Send us a mail, so we can together search for an appropriate camping spot, parking spot and facilities.
